Expression of Interest — Marketing & Storytelling

We’re opening a conversation.

Five Tales Farm is entering a new phase—expanding beyond production into a broader offering that includes direct sales, events, accommodation, and agritourism.

We’re looking to connect with someone who can help shape and grow how this is expressed to the world.

This is an expression of interest for a marketing and storytelling role. It could take the form of freelance collaboration or a part-time position, depending on the person.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of food, farming, and experience.

You would work alongside us to:

  • Develop and refine the Five Tales brand

  • Shape and execute marketing and communication strategies

  • Lead or support storytelling across platforms (email, social, web)

  • Help launch and grow new on-farm ventures, including:

    • Events and workshops

    • Direct-to-customer sales

    • Accommodation and agritourism experiences

  • Elevate and expand our vegetable and flower offering

This is not just about posting content—it’s about helping build a cohesive, thoughtful, and compelling presence as the farm evolves.

Who This Might Suit

We’re not looking for a generic marketer.

This may suit someone who:

  • Has a strong instinct for story, brand, and tone

  • Can think strategically, but also execute practically

  • Is organised, self-directed, and able to manage multiple moving parts

  • Has experience (or deep interest) in food, farming, hospitality, or place-based businesses

  • Understands how to build connection and trust with an audience over time

You might be:
